I think that I shouldn't have to introduce what fast food is all about. The food that can be prepared and served very quickly. Mentioning about fast food, I'm sure that all of you will imagine about the KFC, McDonald, Pizza Hut, Burger King and much more. Everyone from a toddler or child until a grandpa seems to be enjoying it every chance they get. And why not? It's delicious, it's filling and is really affordable.
It's also readily available just any time of the day. There are many options for you either you want buy and eat at the restaurant or being only a drive through. You also can make you order through a phone call. It's just that easy and even a 2-years-old child can do it. What more can you ask for when you are living life in the fast lane?
Well, we can't deny that fast food is all good tasting. Burgers, fried chicken, pizza, fries and others are all taste good. Even by looking at the brochure or watching the commercial break on TV, we feel like to eat them.
However, fast food is not good for our health as it is not nutritionally balanced. I'm sure that everyone know that consume on fast food regularly can cause a bad side-effect for our health in short and long term. But how many of us are taking this fact seriously? We keep ignoring it although we know about it.

Fast food is loaded with calories from refined sugar and fats. Besides that, it is very high in sodium which is coming from the salt used and also other additives. Then, the worse part is that it is deficient in dietary fiber and essential micro-nutrients like vitamins and minerals. Those calories will be stored as body fat and if you are physically inactive, you only adds to the problem of obesity. Don't get surprise when one day you look in the mirror and realize that you've turned into this creature in the mirror. At that time, you will say "Oh my God?Is that me?" and the answer is YES.

Furthermore, recent scientific studies have proven that high-calorie foods rich in fats, refined sugar and salt could reconfigure your hormone in such way that you will be eager to have it after you have eat it once. We can called it as addiction as you will get hooked on and continue consuming it. Usually, children who are still at very young age will be easily attracted to fast food and can you imagine that they get addicted to fast food since they are in childhood. Therefore, they will never grow up along with the healthy food and also get obese at young age.

So, why should we eat food that is bad to our healthy. It is never too late to change our eating habit but it is also not easy to bring changes in our eating habits. Always believe in a phrase, "When there is a will, there is a way"".
To start with,one could reduce the frequency of consuming fast food and eat a home-cooked food that is nutritious. Besides that, take plenty of vegetables and fruits which are good for our body. Your taste will slowly change and you will be not addicted anymore to fast food. However, that doesn't mean you can never have fast food but you have to reduced its consuming.
